Waffles are always a favorite when it comes to breakfast or that evening snack. Here is an easy recipe for preparing homemade waffles.
2 cups white whole wheat flour
1 tbs baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup melted butter
1 tbs Dr vanilla's extract
In a small bowl, stir together the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, and salt).
In a large bowl, mix the remaining ingredients (eggs, milk, butter, vanilla).
Add the dry ingredients and stir to just combine.
Scoop a ladle full of batter onto a hot waffle iron and cook until light brown.
Repeat with the remaining batter. Serve warm.
Optional: Use whipped cream or fruits to garnish the waffles.
